NEW YORK, NY June 19, 2006 —Lawmakers are in Albany for the last week of this year's legislative session. With the session scheduled to end on Thursday night, legislators and the governor are haggling over a variety of bills, including those to expand the state's criminal DNA database, provide more funding for hospitals and fight Medicaid fraud.
