NEW YORK, NY June 12, 2006 —A recording artist whose jaw was broken in the East Village by young men who allegedy yelled anti-gay slurs left the hospital today, his leg in a brace and his jaw wired shut. Kevin Aviance clutched a bouquet of yellow roses as he left Beth Israel Medical Center in Manhattan.
