Former Presidents on Tape at Olympic Vote

NEW YORK, NY July 05, 2005 —President Bush and former President Clinton will address the International Olympic Committee via videotape when New York makes its final presentation in singapore before wednesday's vote. WNYC's Andrea Bernstein reports.
Video pitches by the president and former president will headline New YOrk's final presentation, which begins tonight at 10:30 eastern time -- that's 10:30 tomorrow morning in Singapore.
Senator Hillary Clinton will be the top live bill in a 45-minute presentation that will also include Mayor Bloomberg and several present and former Olympians.
The vote takes place tomorrow morning beginning at 5:30 am eastern. The more than 100 IOC members will vote as many as four times until London, Paris, Madrid, Moscow, or New York gets a majority. An NYC 2012 spokesman says New York is "feeling good" about its bid as it goes into the final vote.
