No Stork Visit for Fifth Ave Hawks
by Amy Eddings
NEW YORK, NY April 29, 2005 —There will be no offspring for Pale Male and Lola this year.
That's the news from New York City Audubon, which has been keeping tabs on the famous red tailed hawks' efforts at family building after Lola laid at least one egg around March 9th.
The egg was the first since the pair rebuilt their nest, which a co-op had ordered taken down in December. Joining us is E.J. McAdams, director of New York City Audubon.
