City Says Babies Should Sleep Alone

NEW YORK, NY April 25, 2005 —The City has launched a baby safety campaign which includes the controversial message that babies should sleep alone.
I say controversial because many parents used a bed sharing or family bed arrangement to assist in breast feeding and bonding and there is a debate in the academic community about the safety of bed sharing.
