Farmers Eye New Market Warily

NEW YORK, NY March 17, 2005 —The newest Whole Foods Market to come to the city opened yesterday on the southside of Union Square.
The supermarket chain specializes in organic products and this could mean stiff competition for local farmers who sell their products at the popular green market less than a block away.
WNYC's Cindy Rodriguez spoke to shoppers in both places.
