NYC Conducts Homeless Survey
by Cindy Rodriguez
NEW YORK, NY March 08, 2005 —Late last night and into this morning volunteers fanned out across the five boroughs to count the homeless on the streets.
It's the third year the city has conducted the survey which is supposed to create a measure for the size of the city's homeless problem. WNYC's Cindy Rodriguez was out all night watching the volunteers at work.
