City Schools Could Get State Funding Windfall

NEW YORK, NY November 30, 2004 —New York City’s schools could get an additional $5.6 billion a year in state aid, if a judge accepts the findings of a special panel. The panel released its recommendations today following eleven years of litigation by a group of parents and education advocates. Amy Eddings talks with Beth Fertig about this seemingly never-ending lawsuit by the Campaign For Fiscal Equity.
