A Guide to NY Republicans

NEW YORK, NY August 25, 2004 — About five thousand Republican delegates will storm into the Democratic stronghold that is New York next week, adding their numbers to about half million registered Republicans here. Republicans make up only about fifteen percent of the registered voters in New York City. So who are they? And where are they?

Joining us in the studio is demographer Andrew Beveridge. He's a Sociology Professor at Queens College and a contributor to the magazine, Gotham Gazette.
