Governor Pataki's Budget

ALBANY, NEW YORK January 30, 2003 — Governor Pataki has released a $91 billion budget that would close next year's projected $10 billion gap. The budget contains no new income taxes - but does have deep cuts to education and health care. And there's little of the kind of recurring budget relief Mayor Bloomberg had asked for.
