Pataki Win Despite 5:3 Registration Edge for Dems

NEW YORK, NY November 06, 2002 — Republican Governor Pataki has won re-election to a third term with 49 percent of the vote, to Democrat Carl McCall's 33 percent and Independence Party candidate Tom Golisano's 14 percent. Pataki's commanding lead came despite a five to three voter registration edge for Democrats. WNYC's Andrea Bernstein reports.
