Revisiting the Family of a Brooklyn Soldier

NEW YORK, NY November 11, 2009 —Brooklyn Marine Lance Corporal Julian Brennan was killed in Afghanistan last January. His parents spoke to WNYC 10 months ago, after hearing that their beloved 25-year-old son died in a roadside bombing. This Veteran's Day, reporter Kathleen Horan is checking back in with Brennan's mother Thya Merz and his father Bill Brennan about life after loss.
