Cuomo: 3 NY Immigration Services Companies Closed

NEW YORK, NY August 21, 2009 —New York Attorney General Andrew Cuomo says he's sending a message to those who take advantage of immigrants seeking citizenship: it won't be tolerated.
CUOMO: We will find you and we're gonna be very aggressive in the investigation. And maybe it's gone on for a ling time but it's a different day today.
REPRTER: Cuomo says his office has already shut down three companies who were scamming immigrants. He says some of them paid thousands of dollars for faulty legal advice. Cuomo says the companies agreed to pay a total of $118,000 in penalties and damages.
