Pakistani-American Punkers

NEW YORK, NY July 30, 2009 —On August 14, the Pakistani-American punk band The Kominas will take the stage in the Brooklyn neighborhood of Bushwick. The band was inspired, in part, by a fantasy novel about Pakistani-American punk bands. Nick Helig has this story of how fiction became reality.
