Madoff's Mets Tickets on eBay
WNYC Newsroom
NEW YORK, NY April 09, 2009 —You can help liquidate disgraced financier Bernard Madoff's assets by buying his Citifield seats for the Mets' home opener this Monday.
The trustee overseeing the liquidation of Madoff's securities firm put a pair of tickets up for auction on the website, eBay. They're good ones, too, section 11, row 8, just to the home plate side of the Mets' dugout. The latest bid is $1500.
Mets owners Fred Wilpon and Saul Katz were friends and investors of Madoff's.
