Madoff to Speak in Court Today

NEW YORK, NY March 10, 2009 —Bernard Madoff is likely to speak in court today to clear his lawyer of any potential conflicts of interest. The court appearance will be a warm-up to Madoff's Thursday plea hearing, when he is expected to plead guilty in the Ponzi scheme case. At least 25 investors have indicated they'd like to speak Thursday.
