In Penn., Latinos at Ease with Obama

NEW YORK, NY November 03, 2008 —There’s been much talk of racism this election season - and not only white racism. The Latino vote may be a deciding factor in some states and throughout this election many Hispanics have spoken of prejudice in their own communities against African-Americans.
But polls are increasingly suggesting that such bias will not turn a significant number of Hispanics away from Senator Barack Obama. And WNYC’s Marianne McCune says recent conversations with Hispanics in the potential swing state of Pennsylvania point to the same conclusion.
