Are Wind Farms Really the Answer?

NEW YORK, NY August 20, 2008 —Could huge offshore wind farms really be the answer to meeting New York City’s growing demand for energy? Mayor Michael Bloomberg raised that possibility yesterday at a clean energy conference in Las Vegas, which was hosted by Sen. Harry Reid. WNYC’s Ilya Marritz joins explains what it’s all about.
