Whitney Expansion Approved Downtown
WNYC News
NEW YORK, NY August 12, 2008 —The Whitney Downtown Expansion Project won unanimous approval from the City Planning Commission yesterday afternoon. The new building for the Whitney Museum of Art is set to be built in the Meatpacking District. Lee Rosenbaum is an arts writer who was at the city planning commission meeting. She joined Brian Zumhagen in the studio.
