A Tour of MTA's East Side Access Tunnels

NEW YORK, NY July 18, 2008 —The Metropolitan Transportation Authority's East Side Access project reached its first goal post a couple of weeks ago: giant boring machines finished burrowing their way from 63rd Street and Second Avenue all the way to Grand Central Terminal. WNYC's Matthew Schuerman takes us on a tour of the two tunnels.
