Shareholders Vote on Bear Stearns

NEW YORK, NY May 29, 2008 —Bear Stearns moves one step closer to oblivion today when JPMorgan Chase's shareholders vote on whether to complete the takeover of the 85-year old firm that collapsed under the weight of risky sub-prime loans.
The vote comes as other Wall Street firms keep reassessing their own exposure.
