Rehearsal Space Photo Contest
OFFICIAL RULES
HOW TO ENTER: No purchase or pledge necessary. Entries may be made via a special Flickr page only. Entries must be received by 11:59 p.m EST. on Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2008.
ELIGIBILITY: Anyone at least 18 years of age or older can enter the WNYC New York’s Rehearsal Space Photo Contest except employees of WNYC and its related organizations, their immediate family or persons living in the same household. The WNYC New York’s Rehearsal Space Photo Contest is open to any United States resident. There is a limit of one entry per person. Void where prohibited by law.
Prize:
• Logic Studio by Apple, a music software package. Value $499 (1 winner each in following 3 categories: "coolest," "ugliest," and "most creative")
SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS: Entrants will post a maximum of three images of a single rehearsal space to the designated Flickr page. Judging will be done by Ryan Duffy, producer and host of VBS TV's Practice Space. The judge’s decision will be final. Three winners and six runners-up will be selected by Friday, Feb. 1, 2008. Winner will be notified via his/her Flickr account. If the winner is unable to collect the prize, the unawarded prize will go to the first runner-up and subsequent runner-ups until prize is awarded. Prize will be sent by mail. A list of winners’ names will be kept on file at WNYC and are available by writing WNYC Promotions Department, One Centre Street, New York, NY 10007.
GENERAL: By participating in the WNYC New York’s Rehearsal Space Photo Contest, participants agree to the Official Rules, and that WNYC, its agents and employees will have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind resulting from their use of the prize or their participation in the giveaway. Prize is nontransferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. There can be no substitutions for a prize of equal or greater value. Participants will submit only original work. Copyright to all entries will remain solely with the authors, though by entering this contest you are giving WNYC permission to use your entry on the air and on the website. Winner’s names may be used for publicity purposes without further compensation. Taxes and expenses as a result of winning this prize are the responsibility of the winner.
RESTRICTIONS: Restrictions may apply. By participating in the WNYC New York’s Rehearsal Space Photo Contest, a participant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules, and by all decisions of the contest judges.
NOTICE: WNYC Radio, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process, the operation of the Website or otherwise in violation of the rules. It further reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify any contest not capable of completion as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort.
