The Tristan Mysteries on Studio 360

Sitting Through Tristan

April 28, 2007 — Brush up your Wagner as Studio 360 offers a collection of highlights from WNYC's The Tristan Mysteries:

German composer Richard Wagner turned the love story of Tristan and Isolde into an epic opera. Epic as in, nearly 5 hours long, with almost no plot. Sometimes even the stars of the show nod off. But producer Amy O’Leary also talked with one woman who was aroused—all too aroused, right there in Carnegie Hall—by Tristan.

Airs Saturday, April 28 at 10AM on 93.9 FM
Rebroadcast on Sunday, April 29 at 7PM on AM 820
