This is a most unique gift shop I have ever scene. My wife is one of the local artists that sell there and she makes wonderful kids accessories. Franklin Avenue needed a store like this for people who want a different kind of gift and dont want to drive far out to get it!!

Great selection of items and a wonderful atmosphere. The owner makes everyone feel right at home and assists you in finding the perfect item for yourself or for a gift.

I purchased a great variety of items through their online store as i live in idaho and we don't have any store like this here. The online process was very easy and my items arrived within a week. I absolutlely loved the granola! I will definitely order again. Can't wait to visit the store in person!

I like the chips,pickles,and bloody mary mix. Most of the clothes are for women, so they made my hips look too big. Lol

My wife and I love Owl & Thistle General Store's ambiance. The owner is very friendly and it's fun to browse at the wide variety of items that are displayed. The brewery kit makes great beer, and the soaps are a favorite of ours. The kale chips are really good, better than you could imagine kale could taste.

Full of unique treasures, Owl and Thistle is a wonderful addition to the changing face of Franklin Av. in Crown Heights. Visit the store for truly original, handmade finds (many from local Brooklyn artisans).

Owl and Thistle has the best stuff for kids: like organic crayons that don't break and are ok to chew on, sustainably produced train engine-sippy cups, that my son sleeps with among many other things. They also have lots of great stuff for adults, like the pomegranate and jalapeno peppers jam that is heavenly put on goat cheese and a cracker. You have to visit the place when you are doing holiday shopping!
