Adler Grier is a small family jewelry business started by myself, Katie Adler (Adler), and Tory Vallely (Grier). I was a jewelry specialist at Christie's ready to start a family and Tory, my husband's aunt, was looking for something new to try. Together we created Adler Grier offering handmade pieces made of sterling silver, 14k gold-filled, semi-precious and Swarovski crystal (price range $45-650). I design and create for the younger-set (20-30s) while Tory targets the 40+ age group. Our jewelry has been described as easy and comfortable to wear, versatile and classic.
Tory and I are still making all the pieces ourselves, except when we ask our nieces and grand-nieces for help at holiday gatherings.
We are only a few years old so we sell mainly at shows to benefit charity. We don't have a storefront. We work from our homes (Boston and Hudson Valley, NY) but do have a website, www.adlergrier.com
