Robert DiScalfani

I've been photographing the NYC subway system since the late '80s. This photograph was taken in 1995 and is part of an ongoing photographic essay, simply based on my exploration of NYC through the years. As a native New Yorker, born in Brooklyn in 1954, my inspiration for all of my subway photographs comes purely from my love of this majestic city, it's people and it's history. It's like no other city in the world. I'm honored and blessed to have been born in this great city!
