Artist Statement:

New York City is a huge network of a metropolis above the surface and and an underworld filled with dark corners and crumbling walls. This was taken on the 2 train in the Bronx. I noticed the red light and it immediately captured my attention since I felt like NYC is a city that will never stop moving because there is so much inside of it and it keeps evolving.
