I took this at the Columbus Circle station on the A line this past June and what it said to me was the whole "hurry up and wait" mentality of the NYC subway system. Trains move fast (most of the time) and many of us have to wait constantly. To me, there was a nice contrast between the waiting guy and the speeding train. What's he waiting for? Did he just miss the train? Probably not since he looks so relaxed. Relaxed? In the subway?

That's what caught my eye.
