I filmed this with my phone on the M train as it passes from manhattan to brooklyn over the course of several months, usually in 8 to 12-second bursts. i thought about coexistence, the oasis-like quality of the space beneath the elevated subway lines, the "personal" narrative of the trains themselves after the subjective riding experience has concluded.
