American Patrol

I first heard this great American song on a record by Red Nichols and his Five Pennies that they made around 1960. Danny Kaye played Nichols in a biopic, in which Nichols returned to music after a long hiatus brought on by the early death of his daughter. Better Nichols than Springsteen on 9/11, though the Boss has writtne some good songs.
