One complete roll of used adding machine tape, straws and pins. The initial transformation was a pile of used tape flowing from the machine on a colleague's desk. The pile was a thing of beauty. I scooped it up ad re-rolled it. The tape then appeared as part or an installation - looping and twisting through the air and ending in a small spiral that became this large piece. It hangs over my desk waiting patiently for a companion in the form of another spiral to emerge from the drawer where all my used tape is placed.
