You interviewed me May 11, 2007 about the Threshold Choir. Since that time we have grown amazingly...our 120th choir just started this week. Our mission is to sing at the bedsides of people who are dying, in coma, newborns, children in hospital and with women who are incarcerated and people who are grieving.
Since this hasn't been done in an organized way before that I know of, I think it fits your criteria...A creative act (singing original songs), making kindness audible and showing how true service heals everyone - the giver and the receiver equally.
