(You meant noon PT, right?:)

Living in NYC for the past seven years, I've grown immune to claims that something is a "must-see." I've just been let down way too many times.

I happened to be on the upper east side last January killing time as I waited for a friend, when I remembered that an artist friend of mine (who is also hype-averse) had mentioned the Event of a Thread and described it as magical. So I made my way over to the armory, was greeted with this scene, and was totally stunned. The whole thing just felt like this playful, dark, majestic gift to the city.

  • Upload your pictures in the form below. You'll need to save the photograph to your local desktop (emailing it to yourself is one option) in order to do so.
  • 2 pictures per person maximum - we're serious!
  • Deadline is Noon, Wednesday, December 25th
  • Oh, and: as tempting as it may be -- no pets or kids (unless they have some news value!) No selfies allowed unless they feature you and the Danish Prime Minister in South Africa.
