Christmas tree prices can vary significantly from block to block. Help us get a sense of the discrepancy - and whether you feel you got a fair price.
It's a $36 Douglas Fir, which was cheaper than the other soft-needled (but longer lasting) trees, which were more like $46-$52. I buy there every year and they seem to survive my forgetfulness in watering them every day.
For NJ, the price is fair, I could probably get closer to $28 at Home Depot, but I've not had good luck with trees there.
WNYC needs to know that if Manhattanites are paying $120 for trees, I'm going to start a tree delivery service. :)
