Christmas tree prices can vary significantly from block to block. Help us get a sense of the discrepancy - and whether you feel you got a fair price.
No... I think the prices have about doubled since last year, and I do not understand why. Re "goes into the price of a tree" I-imagine what has always gone into getting a tree. Most come from Maine, Vt. and N.H. and have to be cut and shipped somehow. Those start shedding needles a few days after you get it. They are as expensive, if not more, that the ones cut locally. Or the cut it yourslef trees. For a six ft. tree one now has to pay $60-70. It is very sad that at Christmas time there is still price gouging going on!
