The Bureau of General Services-Queer Division is a queer cultural center and bookstore on the Lower East Side of NYC. We provide a diverse collection of books, zines, and art works for queers and our admirers. The majority of what we offer will not be found in any big box store: local and international zines, art works by local queer artists, and an intriguing selection of queer (or queerish) books: fiction, poetry, history, exhibition catalogs, plays, cultural theory, area studies, comics, biographies and memoirs, and children's books--many of these are from small independent publishers. And if we don't have it we'll gladly order it for you. The Bureau of General Services-Queer Division welcomes you!
