I took this photo from the southern side of the Manhattan Bridge footpath. I love the juxtaposition of the baseball field with the buildings/skyline in the background. While baseball is played in a park or a field, it is a city game and fits right in with all the activity in the city. While the field tends to stand out from the background, it really does blend right in.
