I took this photo of the Little Red Lighthouse under the George Washington Bridge right before Sandy hit landfall.

I think after all we've been through as a nation the Little Red Lighthouse is a symbol of the strength, tenacity and resilience of the American people.

And it's also a pretty cute little lighthouse:)
