In her apartment in Coney Island, my grandma showed me how to make this pie crust. The next day was Sandy. Grandma still can't go home but I think I remember how to make this crust. I asked her to show me again but she says she doesn't remember anymore. I think Sandy was very stressful for the really old people in a lot of ways that don't show up in pictures.
