This is what is left of the pier in Deal, NJ after Sandy. This Pier has been on this beach since before I was own. It used to have steps for the fisherman to use to access the Jetty. The stairs were removed to prevent litigious events due to injury. That was sad enough but now this massive pier was ripped from its pilings speaking clearly the ferocity of Sandy Super storm.
These pictures of which I have many, I have decided to dedicate my professional photographic skills to document Sandy's destruction. I have been doing so every week at dawn or sunset since Oct 31.
