Imagine standing at a street corner, in Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island, Manhattan, or New Jersey, looking through a wire-frame opening that defined the profile of the WTC towers. Standing on a specific place, the towers would be remembered by their shape, and by their absence. Close to the site, say at Canal Street, the 'profile sculpture' would be quite large. From farther away, a smaller profile.
Artists from around the city or around the world would be asked to provide their memory or meaning near, or around, or part of the profile. The collection of sculptural profiles would comprise a 'remembering tour' of and for the city.

On the Brian Lehrer Show we're talking about public art, and we want to know what public art project you'd propose. Make it simple, make it over-the-top. Make it realistic, or completely impossible! Note: These aren't actual pitches, just a way to share our ideas.
