the cost of going out to dinner, even in pittsburgh, has become prohibitive ($14 glasses of wine, etc.) . . . . so we have gone out much less.

Our second choice after our high junior neighbor is an older woman, around 40, who has babysitting as a legitimate part of her income. We usually end up paying her closer to $11 or $12 a hour, which becomes pretty expensive on a 6pm until midnight evening.
