NO, war is not inevitable. The last thing that people want is war. Wars are instigated by people who profit from that, look at Bush and Cheney, the Carlyle Group, look at Krupp supporting Hitler early on, look at them selling weapons to every party and then reaping the spoils. Normal people have nothing to gain and to lose everything. Take away the power and the hate propaganda sponsored by the people who profit and there will be no more wars.

I was very impressed by Bill Still's Youtube videos The Money Masters and the Secret of Oz. According to them the banking lobbies want the government to stay in debt, so they can collect the interest. and having another war is the best way to insure that, and it's been going on forever in this country. If we don't find a way out from under the thumb of the financial powers, we seemed doomed to war after war. So, yes, as Bert Gossen says, "Take away the power...sponsored by the people who profit and there will be no more wars." -- One other thing, the book Half the Sky by Kristof and WuDunn suggests that empowering more women in society and in government tends to diminish the aggression of nations. I agree.
