Definitely not inevitable. Think of all the relationships in which war has not taken place. Is every marriage to end in divorce, is ever country to be sundered. There are too many good people in this world, too many stable poolings on the micro and macro levels. There will always be conflicts, and conflict resolutions. But we are better on the whole than the hate and ignorance that may drag us down.
