He collects crates and crates and crates and crates of records, particularly house and electronic music, but all kinds.

Kevin is legally blind. The collection is a testament to how he engages with the world aurally, rather than through vision. Despite having barely any visual perception at all, he goes record hunting constantly, builds his collection, and uses them to DJ at parties.

Lets put it this way: his room is packed with CDs and records, there are many, many crates in another room, and crates line the hallway.
