Johnny collects vinyl 45's from the 1950s through 1989.

My God!, he has over 150,000 records. He specializes in vocal group harmony from the 50s and early 60s, but has all genres of music in his collection. He "runs" all the major labels, and many many more that are not well known to most record buyers. One "runs" a label by collecting everything that was ever issued by that label for a given time period.

Johnny then pulls requests and his own favorites for a Saturday evening (8P)internet show on www.topshelfoldies.org plus you can watch him spinning his vinyl live on the station's video chat page.

150,000 45's and growing!! plus lots of 78s, lps, and cds.

Johnny stores most of them in what he calls his "no humidity basement", but trust me, there are records throughout his house.

Johnny is very sharing with his music, committing two hours each Saturday to his TopShelf Oldies show, and always willing to help other collectors and listeners with question about the hobby or specific records.
