Lou collects music, mostly--CD's and a HUGE amount of vintage vinyl. Lou does a radio show at the free form music internet station a group of friends and I run. (Area24radio.com) Thia station has a whole LOT of oddball CD's and vinyl. I think Lou probably has about five times as much.

It's incredibly wide-ranging, like Lou's rock and roll tastes. He's also got more interesting and obscure psychedelia than you can imagine. There are bands from Canterbury, England in the 70's that no one knows about except the members of those bands, their mothers, and Lou. This must be the truth.

I couldn't even begin to estimate. It's the Atlantic City Convention Hall Organ of lp and cd collections. It is going to wake up and ravage the countryside some dark night.

Lou keeps it on the first floor of his house in his man-cave. It's shelved and carefully tended.

The other DJ's at Area 24 Radio (area24radio.com) covet Lou's music collection. It inspires us all. We secretly wish we could broadcast from his man-cave instead of the station. We like it when Lou brings in LPs all wrapped up in layers of plastic and lets us touch them. But we're nerds, too. Lou's wife supports him in his obsession. Maria is a patient and kind woman.
