We hire babysitters as often as we can, it's actually hard to find good babysitters. I like to spend time with my spouse, in order to preserve our marriage. We both work demanding jobs and don't get to spend much alone time together.

I only require a sitter so I can work teaching piano lessons. She watches my baby in our bedroom while I teach in the next room. I would love to care for my own child 24/7 but I make $80 per hour and pay the sitter $18 so it's worth it for me to teach as much as I can. At least I'm right next door. Very grateful for that.
