Bought the hat at Paragon when Seton Hall went to the NCAA Finals in the 1989.

It was quickly withdrawn and replaced by a hat which was not owned by the Pirate, but instead represented the Seton Hall Pirates!

I love bad signage, but it often comes about because the sign is written by someone who doesn't really speak (or more importantly, write) english. What I love about my hat is that it was issued by a UNIVERSITY!

This dry cleaning store in Crown Heights, Brooklyn has a rather eerie sign, albeit a single word anagram faux pas -- but a scary one nonetheless.

This professionally printed (and poorly posted) sign was in the Bronx. Apart from the fact that it's a notice (it says as much) and that it apologizes for the inconvenience, it doesn’t say much else. The “why” of this sign is on the other side, securely hidden from view. This is the MTA at its most efficient.

Approaching Santa Fe, NM, from the south on I-25. This sign, with push buttons, was outside of the restroom doors. Did it want to know if I was pleased with its cleanliness, or was the question more existential, like "should this rest stop even exist?" And how do the rest-stop operators compile and interpret the information? I pushed "yes," as I figured that in these days of budget crises, travelers should be supportive of any facilities they find along the way or they might be taken away from us.

This was in a full page supermarket ad a few years ago. Finally, a perfect gift for a Urologist! It's one good reason never to depend upon spell checking software.

On 2nd Avenue
The right door has a little "Please Use Other Door" sign over the larger hand-written version, and even THAT one was incorrect and needed an insert. What am I supposed to be, a Mind Reader to find this place?
