With just about a year left in office, Mayor Michael Bloomberg is feeling some trepidation as to what’s next — but not too much.
Speaking on his weekly WOR-AM radio show Friday, Bloomberg likened his time in office to a great vacation.
“You’re sorry it ends, but you’re glad to get home,” Hizzoner said.
He also said 12 years was enough.
“It’s time for somebody else, and hopefully they’ll build on what we’ve done,” he said. “I hope that the next mayor is a better mayor than I was ‘cause I’m going to be a citizen living here.”
Bloomberg won a third term as an Independent in 2009, after the City Council extended term limits in 2008 from two four-year terms to three.

Last but certainly not the least, never forget to be grateful for whatever it may be - title gestures, surprises, or even just the fact that you've seen your man smile today. These little things will keep reminding you why you loved him in the first place and keep the honeymoon phase alive.
